CertScope maintains an official presence on various social media sites: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. These accounts are produced, maintained, and monitored by the CertScope Marketing and digital team.

All users are welcome and encouraged to share content on CertScope social media pages or in our comment/opinions sections. Remember that you are personally responsible for all content you post online, whether in a blog, on a social networking site, or in the comments section of an online resource.

Content posted by other users on CertScope social media pages does not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of CertScope. Links to content on other websites should not be construed as an endorsement of the organisations, entities, views or content contained therein. CertScope is not responsible for the content of those external websites.

By posting content to any CertScope social media page, users understand and acknowledge that this information is available to the public and that other participants may use posted information beyond the control of CertScope. Users who do not wish to have the information they have made available via these sites used, published, copied and/or reprinted, should not post on CertScope social media pages or in the comment sections of the website.

CertScope regularly reviews content posted by other users to the official CertScope social media pages listed above. All users are expected to adhere to site-specific Terms of Use when posting content to an official CertScope social media page. CertScope reserves the right but is not obligated, to remove content from CertScope social media sites or it's website for any reason.

If you plan to share content on a CertScope social media page or on our website, observe the following guidelines.

Stay on topic.

When commenting under an existing post, please keep comments on the topic. However, if you have a question about CertScope or it's services, feel free to post it and CertScope will try to answer it promptly.

Observe confidentiality laws at all times.

Do not post confidential information about the CertScope, students, colleagues, vendors, etc. This includes name, address, telephone number, email address, etc. Follow applicable federal requirements such as FERPA and HIPAA, as well as NCAA regulations. Employees who share confidential information do so at the risk of disciplinary action or termination.

Do not post spam or advertisements.

Unauthorised commercial solicitations are not permitted on CertScope social media pages and will be removed. Users who continuously post unauthorised advertisements on CertScope social media pages or it's website will risk being banned from posting or blanket ban from accessing CertScope services.

Observe fair use, copyright and disclosure laws.

Always give people credit for their work, and make sure you have the right to use content before you post it on social media sites.

Be truthful in your posts.

Never represent yourself or CertScope falsely or misleadingly. All statements must be true; all claims must be substantiated.

Do not bully or harass other users.

We welcome civilised dialogue on all issues. If you disagree with another user's opinion, please keep your comments respectful. Do not threaten, bully or harass other users. If you are a CertScope employee, you will be expected to adhere to all applicable CertScope policies and regulations. If you are a CertScope student, you will be expected to adhere to the Student Code of Conduct. CertScope employees and students who violate these codes and policies do so at the risk of disciplinary action or termination.

Refrain from using hateful speech.

Be respectful of others. Do not attack other users based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or medical condition.

Do not use vulgar language or profanity.

CertScope reserves the right to remove comments and posts that contain profanity, nudity, hate symbols or references.

Do not post content that contains graphic violence or pornography.

Several social media sites have a strict policy against the sharing of pornographic content and impose limitations on the display of nudity and graphic violence. Refrain from posting such content on CertScope social media pages or it's website.
